Blaine Soccer Club - Text Message Updates

Summer Jr Little Kickers Program- 3 and 4 year olds
A fun filled introduction to soccer for young children aged 3 and 4 years old (birth dates 08/01/07 - 07/31/09) taught through
‘Adventure Soccer’ activities rather than formal scrimmage games. Sessions are on Friday evenings 5:45 - 6:30pm
and 6:45pm-7:30pm June 1, 8, 15 and 22 @ the Blaine Soccer Complex. For more info please click

2012 Summer Recreational Soccer League, May - July
We are now accepting individual registrations for the upcoming outdoor season to be held at the Blaine Soccer Complex this
Spring/summer. The league is open to all youth players within the Twin Cities metro area ages 4 - 15 yrs old.
Registration deadline is April 5, 2012 without a late fee being applied. Registration is available online
or by mail in form (the mail in form contains additional league details regarding age groups and play nights) Practices/Games will begin
on/after May 9th and will run through early July.
U8 Festival Program
In addition to playing in the 2012 BSC summer recreational league this optional program is for U7/U8 players to also participate in
three soccer festivals and take part in some additional training sessions with the BSC coaching director and BSC trainers. The program will

Parents and Coaches Together (PACT) - Upcoming Seminars: March 2012
Parents and Coaches Together (PACT) is an educational program developed at the University of Notre Dame’s Center for Ethical Education and Development.
The program is based on the latest research from developmental and sports psychology and is designed to help coaches and
parents to get on the same page in successfully creating a positive and nurturing climate in Minnesota youth soccer.

2012 Challenger British Soccer Camp - June 25-29 @ the Blaine Soccer Complex
Blaine Soccer Club is proud to partner with Challenger British Soccer to present the 2012 Challenger British Soccer Camp at the Blaine Soccer Complex,
June 25-29 (9:30am-12 noon each day). All players will receive quality coaching from professional trainers flying in from the UK, British Soccer T Shirt,
Challenger Soccer Ball, Giant Poster and an Individual Player Evaluation at the end of camp. Players that register 45 days prior to the camp will also
receive an official British Soccer Jersey ($39 value). Registration is $120 per player and is now open. For more info or to register please click

MYSA Fall League Champions
Congratulations to the Blaine Scream U11 C2 Girls (Coach Driste) and the Blaine Bandits U13 C2 Boys (Coach Peterson) who
won their respective MYSA Fall Travel Leagues.
OATHS AWARD - 4 Blaine SC teams receive the OATHS Award
Congratulations to the following Blaine SC travel teams who were awarded the Outstanding Ambassadors of Teams Honoring
Sportsmanship (OATHS) award by MYSA for their respective age-groups this past year: U9 Boys Gold (Coach Bross),
U11 Boys C3 (Coach Paquin) U15 Girls C2 (Coach Peterson) and U17 Girls C2 (Coach Hansen). OATHS is an encouragement
education program for traveling U9 through U19 boys and girls teams that distinguish athletes, coaches and fans for
their dedication to good sportsmanship. The OATHS Evaluation is included on every Competitive Match Report which all
referees are asked to complete.
2012 Travel Team Registration
Registration for 2012 summer travel teams is now open. Early bird discount fee of $225 is available if you register by November 1st, 2011.
The regular registration fee of $250 applies from November 2nd, 2012. Once contacted by the club or your coach players will be able to find
their team listed on the online system. All players should be contacted by the end of September, 2011.
Registration is 100% online.
