Blaine Soccer Club is excited to announce the appointment of two new Staff Coaches, Armando Oster and Jared Rice.
Armando has coached Club Soccer since 2010 and most recently held the role of U5-U10 Youth Director for the Eden Prairie Soccer Club. His aim is to leave each player feeling like they benefited from his instruction as a coach. He hopes the outcome of that is to influence the player to want to involve themselves with soccer outside of training. The players who develop over the long term are those who dedicate time and energy to the game they love.
Armando holds the USSF National D License, USYS National Youth License and the NSCAA GK Level 3 Diploma.
Jared grew up playing soccer in Montana before moving out to Minnesota to attend school at Concordia College in Moorhead where he was a 4-year starter. After graduation, Jared spent two years coaching and working for a youth soccer club based out of Fargo, during which he helped develop players as young as 4 all the way up to 18.
He recently moved to the Twin Cities area and brings a lot of passion to continue learning and improving as a coach. Jared holds the USSF National D License and is working towards achieving the USSF National Youth License this summer.
